✝Gift with Purchase Promotion (the “Promotion”) - Terms and Conditions

1.    By entering the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “Terms”). 

2.    The promoter is Robert Bosch Limited, a company incorporated and registered in Scotland with company number SC013418 whose registered office is at C/O Bosch Rexroth, Viewfield Industrial Estate, Glenrothes KY6 2RD (“Promoter”). More information about Promoter can be found in clause 24 below. The Promotion is managed and facilitated by third party agencies as set out below:

3.    The Promotion period will run from 03 April 2023 to 30 June 2023 (“Promotion Period”). The closing date for receipt of a claim for a Gift (as defined below) by the Promoter is 31 July 2023 at 23:59pm (GMT) (“Closing Date”). All claims for a Gift (as defined below) must be submitted by Closing Date to be considered for the Promotion.

4.    The Promotion is open to individuals aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom (including Isle Of Wight, Isle of Man, Shetlands,  Orkney and Channel Islands)  and Republic of Ireland, except for employees of the Promoter, or of any other company within the Bosch group of companies (including BSH Home Appliances Limited), and their immediate family members, Bosch’s agents or their employees, or any person professionally associated with this Promotion (or members of their family or household) or anyone else connected with the creation and administration of the promotion (“Eligible Participant”).

5.    The Promotion is offered via participating retailers only and only participating retailers will have the official advertising literature. 

6.    There is a purchase requirement in order to enter the Promotion. This Promotion is open to Eligible Participants who meet the requirements for Entry (as defined below). This is a consumer only Promotion. All products purchased on a business, trade or contract basis (i.e. non consumer purchases) are excluded from the Promotion.

Reward and Entry:

7.    An Eligible Participant will receive a free 3Ah 18v Bosch Battery (the “Gift”) if they:
 
a.    during the Promotion Period, purchase from participating retailers any of the selected Bosch branded 18v products as listed in Schedule 1 with a value of £70 / €80 or more in one single transaction online or in-store:
(hereinafter referred to as “Qualifying Product”)
and
b.    by or before the Closing Date, claim the Gift by 
i.    completing and submitting the Gift claim form online at www.boschpowertoolspromotions.co.uk, or downloading a claim form from the link identified below and submitting by post as set out in the table below; and

ii.    attaching a copy of the retailer invoice/receipt which must show the Qualifying Product make and model, the name of the participating retailer, the purchase price and the date of purchase. For the avoidance of doubt, the date of purchase must be within the Promotion Period. It is recommended that you keep a copy for your records in the event of query.
((a) and (b) are together called the “Entry”).

8.    The Gift claim pursuant to clause 7 has to be received at the latest by the Closing Date. Third Party Agencies will, on behalf of Promoter, check and verify to confirm that the Entry is compliant with these Terms. A further email notification will then be sent as set out in clause 13.

9.    Any Entry that does not contain the information required above at clause 7 will be invalid and will not be entered into the Promotion.

10.    The Promoter reserves the right and has complete discretion to disqualify any Entry deemed unsuitable, inappropriate, explicit or offensive, and accepts no responsibility for Entries not successfully or fully completed due to any reason including technical faults.

11.    Each Eligible Participant will be entitled to claim the Gift only three (3) times in total against three (3) different purchases of Qualifying Products. Entries of more than three (3) on behalf of the same Eligible Participant and Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted. 

12.    The Gift is not transferable and there is no cash alternative. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Gift with product(s) of equal or greater value at any time.

13.    If your Entry is approved, you will receive an email confirmation from Third Party Agencies, on behalf of the Promoter, normally within 10 days of validation (“Notification”). Your Gift will then be dispatched to your address in the United Kingdom (including Isle Of Wight, Isle of Man, Shetlands,  Orkney and Channel Islands)  or Republic of Ireland within approximately 30 days from Notification (unless otherwise notified on www.boschpowertoolspromotions.co.uk). Please check junk and spam email filters for Notifications.

General:

14.    In all matters relating to the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into. 

15.    At all times throughout the Promotion, participants must deal with the Promoter in the utmost good faith in every respect. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants and disqualify any participant that it has reasonable grounds to believe has breached any of the Terms, including, but not limited to, falsifying any information submitted to or requested by the Promoter.

16.    The Promoter reserves the right to amend or terminate the Promotion at any time without notice. However, the Promoter will use its reasonable endeavours to minimise the effect of such amendment or termination to avoid disappointment. Any termination or amendment to the Promotion will be communicated in the same way as the Promotion was communicated. 

17.    The Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions that are run by the Promoter or any company within the Bosch group of companies.

18.    The Promoter excludes all liability for taxes relating to the Gift and any tax liability arising from the provision of the Gift will be the sole responsibility of the recipient of the Gift.

19.    Paramount Pictures Corporation (and its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensors and licensees (together with their officers, directors, shareholders and employees) (collectively referred to as “Paramount”) are not responsible or liable for this Promotion and therefore the Participant releases Paramount from any liability or responsibility in relation to this Promotion.

20.    The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in your Entry, nor does the Promoter accept responsibility for the return of any Entry, including those consisting of artistic or other material.

21.    By making a valid Entry and accepting these Terms, the Participant agrees that Promoter and Third Party Agencies, on behalf of Promoter, can process the participants’ personal data for the purposes of the Promotion and complying with its delivery commitments. The Promoter’s legal basis for processing the personal data is that the processing is carried out for the purpose of fulfilling the contractual obligations as described in these terms and legitimate business interests in connection with the Promotion and supply of the Gift. The Promoter will not process the participants’ personal data for other purposes unless they have a legal basis for doing so. The Promoter handles the participants’ personal information in a secure and confidential manner and always in accordance with the law, including the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation. Your personal data will be passed to Third Party Agencies who assist Promoter in managing the Promotion and to third party delivery companies. Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties unless there is a legal basis for this. The law provides the participants with rights in relation to their personal information. To find out more about this and about how the Promoter handles personal information in accordance with the law, please take a look at the Privacy policy which is updated from time to time as legal requirements change.

22.    If any provision or part-provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, but that shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these Terms. 

23.    The Promotion will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Promotion. If you are a consumer who is resident in Ireland, you may bring any dispute which may arise under these Terms, at your discretion, to the courts of Ireland. 

As a consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident.  Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law.
