Solder & flux

Solder is a metal alloy with a low melting point that’s used to create joints between metal components when soldering. Depending on the metals being joined together, you should choose a solder wire with a composition best suited to the task in hand. Rosin core solder is commonly used for electrical work whilst solid wire solder is favoured for plumbing projects.
