Strawflowers are a fun bedding plant, with their unusual textured flower. They will flower for many months into the Autumn.
- Best for middle of borders. in Sunny areas
- Moist & well drained Aerated soil
- Watering instructions - Keep compost moist during germination period and thereafter. Water well during dry spells.
- Plant in March - May, Flowering period June - September
- Sow outdoors 0.5cm deep in well drained soil in a sunny spot. Keep moist. Seedlings will usually appear after 14-28 days. Thin out seedlings to 30cm apart.
- Remove any deadheads on the plant to encourage more flowers to bloom.
