These slow-growing indoor plants are known for their lush, dark green leaves and sturdy trunks. They’re perfect for creating a tropical atmosphere and can tolerate low light conditions, making them ideal for those who don’t have a sunny spot. Kentia palms are a really great all round house plant, due to their easy care and lush palm appearance.
- Plant temperature - Happiest in rooms with temperatures 15-25º.
- Watering instructions - Water me when the top two inches of my compost has dried out, and do not allow me to sit in water as this will damage my roots. Reduce watering in the winter months.
- Instructions for care - Keep compost moist but not soggy. Do not allow to sit in water. Reduce the frequency of winter watering
- Feeding instructions - Feed me once a month during the growing season of Spring/Summer with a good quality general purpose plant feed.
- Instructions for planting - Repot in the Spring, only if plant becomes rootbound, to a grow pot one to two inches larger than current using a peat free general purpose compost.
