Nasturtium are a particularly good companion plant in a vegetable garden, particularly for broccoli, kale, courgettes, pumpkins, beans and tomatoes.

• Best for containers,baskets or fronts of borders. in Sunny areas
• Moist & well drained Aerated soil
• Watering instructions - Keep compost moist during germination period and thereafter. Water well during dry spells.
• Plant in April - June, Flowering period June - September
• Sow directly outdoors, 1.5cm deep in well drained soil in a sunny spot. Sow 2 seeds at 20cm intervals and keep moist. Can be grown indoors, 2cm deep, from mid-April, keep warm 20-25C and soil moist. Seedlings will usually appear after 21-28 days. If both seeds germinate, remove the smaller of the two seedlings to leave one strong healthy seedling in each location.
• Remove any deadheads on the plant to encourage more flowers to bloom.
