B&Q is donating 100% of profits from selected sunflower seed products sold online or in store between 14 March 2022 and 31 July 2022, to the ‘DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal’ through the British Red Cross. The total donation is expected to be at least £150,000 across the promotion. The British Red Cross Society registered with charity no. 220949 in England and Wales and SCO37738 in Scotland.

- Place the coir tablets in a bowl with 180 ml of water, allowing coir to expand. Fill the compostable tray with the coir up to 2 cm below the rim. Sprinkle the seeds over the soil and cover with 1 cm of coir (use one packet per 2 tray cells). Place the compostable tray inside the plastic tray. Place the tray somewhere bright, but away from direct sunlight (18-20°C)
- Alternatively, plant directly into the garden in a sunny spot, 20 cm apart and after the chance of frost has passed
