Petrol Safety: • Store fuel in approved containers. • Refuel outdoors away from sparks, with a funnel. • Open fuel tank slowly; tighten caps securely. • Refuel before starting; never while engine is running or hot. • Clean spills; move 3 meters from fuel area before starting. During Use: • Operate in ventilated areas; avoid carbon monoxide. • Work in daylight or well-lit spaces. • Maintain stable footing; avoid slippery or steep terrain. • Walk, don’t run. Work across slopes with the cutting head downhill. • Always use both hands and ensure guards are intact. • Beware of flying debris. Engine Safety: • Cutting head may rotate after shutdown. • Stop engine when unattended; disconnect spark plug before maintenance. • Don’t place a hot engine near flammable materials. • In accidents, turn off engine and seek help. • Clear debris regularly. Noise & Vibration: • Wear ear protection; take breaks to reduce exposure. • Maintain balance and condition of cutting head. • Prolonged vibration can cause injuries (e.g., Raynaud’s).
