You can apply this decking end grain protector from Ronseal to , using a brush, to provide protection. It takes 24 hours to dry and will cover up to 8 m² per litre on average.

• Give the tin a thorough stir to ensure the consistency is smooth. Get loads of protector on the brush and coat the deck ends. If you get any on top of the boards, just wipe it off with a cloth. Leave a maximum of four hours for the first coat to dry. Apply the second coat. Leave the coat to dry for another four hours before staining or oiling over it.
