This is not a drill.... barely a screwdriver

OK.... I didn't buy this from DIY.ie or B&Q.... this is not a comment about the retail outlets..... I regret to have to review this drill so poorly, but I would hate to think that anyone would buy this product expecting a drill..... If you want to "drill" plasterboard and perhaps screw a few VERY small screws into VERY soft wood.... maybe this is the thing for you..... If you want to mix very, VERY light pancake batter......go for it..... If you have a need to drill even medium woods, concrete or use bigger than fingernail length screws...... don't think this is for you.... Torque adjustment is only an ornament...., the hammer action is just a joke.... Battery wise.... McAllister have the same codes to describe different battery connections.... I have a McAllister strimmer, same code battery, different connections.... ohhh and the strimmer is grand if you want to break up early morning spider webs..... I will never buy a McAllister product again....... lidl middle aisle junk is FAR superior..... I include a photo to prove I am not lying...... save up buy a proper tool, K.
