Dutch Iris White Excelsior naturalises well and can be left in place for a pretty early summer floral display year after year.

• Planting location: Beds, borders or in patio pots
• Soil moisture: Moist & well drained, Soil pH: Any
• Flowering period: June - July, Planting period: March - May
• Plant in a sunny/shady spot. Dig soil improver and bonemeal into the planting hole before planting. In heavy clay soils add horticultural grit to the bottom of the planting hole. Do not attempt to plant these bulbs if the ground is frozen or during freezing conditions Remove faded flowers to prolong flowering. Water well during dry spells. Top dress with a general purpose plant food as the last flowers fade. Allow foliage to die down naturally. Flowering results improve each year.
