A lightweight undercoat plaster for use over low and medium suction backgrounds.

• In a well ventilated area mix powder either by hand or with a mechanical whisk using clean water & clean mixing equipment to the required working consistency. Avoid excessive mixing. All undercoats must be thoroughly scratched to provide a good mechanical key for the finishing plaster. Under no circumstances should any additive be mixed with Gyproc plasters as this practice will seriously affect the working qualities and could lead to problems with decoration and/or bond failures. Bonding Coat plaster should never be re-tempered and any material which has begun to set should be disposed of. Adequate ventilation is essential to aid drying out of all plasters. If adequate ventilation is not provided during the drying out phase, the strength of the plaster may be affected and the time at which decoration may start might be delayed. • Plasters may produce an alkaline solution on contact with body moistures or when mixed with water. Dust from mixing or sanding may irritate the respiratory system, skin and eyes - work in a ventilate area. Avoid with eyes and skin - wash off with water, and wear protective overalls and footwear. (To avoid prolonged or repeated wet contact, wear impermeable gloves). Use correct manual handling techniques when handling this product. Dispose of in accordance with local or national regulations.
