• Planting location: Suitable for beds, borders, containers or naturalising
• Flowering period: March-April, Planting period: Aug-Dec
• Plant at a depth of 10cm. Plant in a sunny spot. Add some compost and bonemeal into the planting hole before planting. In heavy clay soils add horticultural grit to the bottom of the planting hole to help with drainage. In the growing season, water plants in containers during dry spells. Once in growth, feed weekly with a liquid plant food to help the bulbs store energy for the following year. Allow foliage to die down naturally. Lift the bulbs and store somewhere cool and dry until it's time to replant in autumn.
