Socket sets
Socket wrenches and sockets sets are primarily used for vehicle maintenance and repairs. Interchangeable sockets, in metric and imperial sizes are using in conjunction with a ratchet handle to fasten and undo hex bolts and nuts. Socket spanners do a similar job but feature a socket-head on a regular non-ratcheting handle. This generates less torque but can be useful when working on small items and when a more compact tool is required.
