Christmas Stockings!!!

Legend has it that Saint Nicholas once dropped a few coins down a chimney of the home of three poor sisters. The coins would have been lost in the ashes if they hadn't landed neatly in the stockings left to dry by the hearth. Hoping for similar fortune, we leave our stockings there too. Here are some ideas for hanging your christmas stockings.

Three easy steps:

STEP 1:

Find some type of stocking hangers that sit on the firplace for the easiest and quickest way to hang stockings.

STEP 2:

String a garland across the fireplace then secure both ends well with thumbtacks or staples. Then fix your stockings to the garland. Always make the garland will suport the h weight of your stockings when full of presents.

STEP 3:

Use small wire twists or pretty bows to tie your stockings to a rail or banister if you don't have a fireplace.
