Older properties may have cast iron gutters and down pipes fitted. They can have a long life span if painted regularly. The paint product used as a finished coat on the outside of the gutters should always be fit for purpose.
The insides of the gutters should also be maintained with suitable paint product. The support bracket should also be maintained and checked at regular intervals.
