Always clean your paint brushes immediately after use, and before the
paint has a chance to harden.
If your paint brush does not clean thoroughly first time, clean it
again using paint thinner and rewash in a solution of detergent and
warm water.
If you are using oil-based paints, always clean your paint brush with
white spirits and then wash thoroughly in a solution of detergent and
warm water.
If you require your paint brushes to be stored for long periods,
return to sleeve supplied with brush or wrap in foil, always with the
bristles smooth and flat.
You may also suspend your paint brushes from a nail or hook so that
the paint brush is not resting on its bristles.
Never allow your paint brush to stand on end in either paint or water.
This practice may also damage either the filament or the epoxy setting
and cause the brush ferrule to rust.
