It should say: "Extremely quick drying"

I'm not a professional just a DIY-er so I am used to another brand of ready mix which takes a really long time to dry but then you have plenty of time to work with as that one I can trowel it, go a couple (or more) times over it to smooth it, wait some 20 minutes and using a very wide spatula smooth out any bigger lines, wait another 202=-60 minutes and then smooth it further with a wet sponge. And presto! A smooth wall/ceiling with no need for sanding (I hate dust !!! ). I was hoping to do the same with this one unfortunately I have just wasted my time, money and a lot of sweat trying to smooth that hard "cookie dough" as another reviewer called it. I chose this thinking it is the same as there is another "Quick Drying" type available from same manufacturer so assumed this would not be. It was really thick so I said at first I'd cover a few screw heads first. Only it dried on my filling knife just as I was doing it so couldn't work with. I then added some water so thin it and made it quite runny so I went to apply a finish on my ceiling but again: you trowel it once, maybe get a chance to go immediately on more time over with the trowel to smooth it but on a third go is already dry and crumbles. I messed up a quarter of my ceiling now so I will have to go back to my favourite brand. I checked the bucked and expiry date is 09/24 so it's not gone off. I even tried to fix some crack lines around a socket I've changed and managed to botch that job too. Not too sure if I could return it or claim anything so it goes in the bin with the disappointment of a day's delay and more work. Again: maybe an extremely skilled professional can use it with the advantage of such quick drying but for DIY = NO !
