One season wonder
Light, easy enough to handle, and probably OK for small garden work, taking out a few soft weeds around the roses, that type of thing. Mine worked OK for about 6 months, and was a pleasure to handle compared to my full size trimmer, but I have a big garden with a lot of tough grass. Soon enough, smoke, and a burning smell, and, finding I'd lost the receipt, off to the WEEE dump with it after cutting off the lead. What I have left is a rather expensive extension cord.

Not great
I have a bigger, heavier strimmer but I needed something smaller and lighter for along edges and under shrubs. This is nice and light and the price is good. It might suit if you have a very small garden and if you can stand the fiddly line reloading. I modified the spool by drilling a couple of holes, which made it easier than most and fitted it with Bosch line and it worked fine until it didn't work at all: bit of smoke from the motor and that's that. It has just enough power for thickish grass, but clearly not up to prolonged heavy use. Mine lasted long enough for me to have forgotten where I put the warranty, but I suppose I got one summer's use out of it, so it wasn't money down the drain. My next one will be a name brand with a little more power and I'll look after the warranty better

Broken
Bought this a couple of weeks ago, used it for 5 mins and it broke. Should’ve looked at the reviews before I purchased!
