Now place the tree into your Christmas tree stand, which should include a water bowel to which you should add water to when required. The second option is a bucket filled with wet sand again making sure to wet the sand as required. The application of water is important as it prevents the needles from drying and dropping off and the branches also from drooping. The addition of water will help to keeps your tree fragrant. Place your Christmas tree in the coolest part of the room away from fires and radiators if possible.
