Repair to Lathe and Plaster
Plaster lathed

To carry out a repair to lathe and plaster, you must first start by cutting back the damaged area to the nearest wooden stud or joist.

Fix timber battens of 50mm by 25mm on either side of the wooden stud or joist to allow the damaged area to be patched.

Now measure and cut a piece of plasterboard the same size as the damaged area.

Using galvanized board nails fix the plasterboard over the damaged area.
