Stress-Free Building
Be very clear with your builder about is required, have a written specification and signed contract before any work starts.

Empty areas where builders will be working or have to pass through before they start.

It is very important to have a good working relationship with your builders and make sure there's there is always a kettle available for tea breaks!

Keep children and pets away from any new build for health and safety reasons.

Try to get all required building work started and finished in the early spring or summer as newly plastered walls dry out much quicker in good weather. Also in the summer months you will not require your central heating if it has to be turned off.

If you have any issues with the building work being carried out, inform your builder as soon as possible.

Always pay your bills on time as per written payments contract.
