Light switches?
Light switches are simple in design. Current flows through a switch to the load, such as a ceiling light.

When you flip the switch off, it breaks the circuit and interrupts the flow of electricity. A light switch can have two or three terminals, usually live, neutral and earth are connected to one of these terminals.
