Dear doctor can you please help me one of my rooms suffers from mould.

A 34 rising damp Yes I can help you to get rid of your mould problem. First you must start by the treatment of any mould you may already have in the affected room. Secondly now start to consternate on the problem of dampness, if you deal with the problem in this order mould should not reappear.





To kill off and remove mould, wipe down wall and all other affected areas with a quality fungicidal wash product. It is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions when using this type of product.

After treatment, redecorate using a good quality fungicidal paint to help prevent mould recurring.


Note:

The only guaranteed method when dealing with mould is to eliminate the cause of the dampness completely.
