Question: Floor TilingCan you please help me I have old adhesive type floor tiles on my kitchen floor, is it acceptable to tile over the existing tiles? |
Answer Simply No, good building practice will say that the old tiles
are to be completely removed. Only on a complete new surface will you
be guaranteed of the perfect adhesion of your new tiles. Please note
we do not advocate any tiles being laid of any surface other than
solid.
